Gibb-Macdougall Mercantile Agency Pty Ltd (GMMA) was established in 1923 by Robert Macdougall and continued on by his son Noel Macdougall. The current director Robert Macdougall started in the business in 1969.

Robert Macdougall and GMMA hold the appropriate licenses under the Commercial Agents and Private Inquiry Agents Act 2006.

GMMA concerns itself principally with commercial debts owing to small and medium sized manufacturers, wholesalers and importers, owing to professional people such as accountants and engineers.

We have available to us the appropriate technology including online searches.

GMMA will accept any debt however small and is prepared to negotiate on commission and charges where debt volume is high.

Our employees have been with GMMA for a long time and bring with them a wealth of experience in analysing complex matters and are proficient in preparing legal processes in New South Wales and in interstate matters.

GMMA is a member of the Institute of Mercantile Agents and Robert Macdougall is a member of the Australian Institute of Credit Management.

We pride ourselves in not only being able to commence & enforce legal proceedings in NSW but also being able to commence & enforce proceedings interstate and to continue proceedings interstate commenced in NSW.
